Gai Taylor has taken inspiration from the great variety of colours and leaf shapes as trees shed their leaves before winter in designing Fall Flurry.The project uses 100% wool felt for the individual shapes, which are then embellished with traditional embroidery stitches. The leaves are then stitched to the background fabric before free motion quilting the project

Flurry Fall  uses 100% wool felt to form the leaves for this project.The leaves are embellished using embroidery stitches , and the leaves are then appliqued to the background fabric to form the flurry of leaves.

The pattern contains line diagrams of the shapes to applique on the background, step by step instructions for completing the project, as well as a Glossary of stitches used in the project.

The Kit contains the pattern, the wool felt required for the project. as well as the background fabric for the project. Fall Flurry makes  a great centre for a table or a bed runner.

The wool felt project suitable for Beginners to Intermediate Stitchers.
