Birdsville uses a combination of hand applique and machine piecing to create this gorgeous project. Wool felt is used for that special effect.
The flower centres are made with a variety of methods including reverse applique. Raid your stash for interesting fabrics to use in the middle of each flower. This adds a wonderful texture combined with the wool felt. Perle 8 cotton is used for the hand stitching.
