Clamshell template consists of four half circles (outside diameter) 11/2″, 2″, 2 1/2″ and 3″ to create half circles 2″, 2 1/2″, 3 and 3 1/2″repeats.
Clamshell template is laser cut from 5 mm acrylic and laser engraved on the back to reduce parallax error and enhance accuracy.
This template will allow quilters to create a number of different shapes or designs on both long arm quilting machines or home sewing machines, using a special rule foot on their machine.
The template is 5 mm thick with special lines marking 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″ and horizontal and vertical. They designed with 8 crossed lines marking the centre, giving 45 degrees, 90 degrees, and 180 degrees to allow for easier placement.
The 1/4″increment lines help make echo lines with the same template
